Who processes your data

What data we collect
Only what you enter in the forms on the website: name, phone number, email, date, time, number of guests, type of event or service, and any notes. In the notes you can tell us about allergies or intolerances: we use this information solely to prepare your meal safely. To protect the forms from spam, we also record the IP address the request comes from, together with the date and time it was sent.
Why we use it
To respond to your request for a booking, or for a quote for an event or catering, and to send you the emails relating to that request (summary, confirmation or reply). The IP address is used solely to block automated submissions and abuse, on the basis of the restaurant's legitimate interest in protecting the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The legal basis is your request, that is, the pre-contractual measures provided for by Art. 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR). For information about allergies and intolerances, the legal basis is your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR), which you give by ticking the box on the form. We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it to anyone.
How long we keep it
For as long as necessary to handle your request and any related event, and in any case no longer than 12 months. After that we delete it, except for anything the law requires us to keep (for example, invoice details).
Who else sees it
Only the restaurant staff who handle bookings and the technical providers that run the website and send the emails (hosting and email service), appointed as data processors. Some of these providers may have servers outside the European Union: in that case the transfer takes place with the safeguards provided for by the GDPR, such as the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its use, to object to its processing, to receive it in a machine-readable format and to withdraw your consent, by writing to info@ristoranteilbagatto.it. If you believe your data is not being processed correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies
This website does not use profiling or advertising cookies, so we do not ask for your consent with a banner. It uses only the technical tools needed for it to work and visitor statistics in aggregated, anonymous form. There are two cookies, both set by our own website: "session-id", used to count visits anonymously, which lasts 30 minutes, and "__dpl", a technical cookie needed for the website to work properly, which lasts 24 hours. Neither is used to identify you or to show you advertising. Fonts are loaded from our own website, without going through external services.
The Google map on the Home and Contact pages only loads if you tap the "Show map" button. From that point on, Google may set its own cookies, in accordance with its privacy policy. The links to Instagram and Facebook take you to their respective websites, which have their own rules.
